Students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in as little as 15 months* depending on their educational background.

Courses are taught via CTU Online's revolutionary CLIMB™ Learning System and include: the health care industry, HR management in health care, current legal, ethical and regulatory issues in health care, health care organization, finance in health care and management principles in health care.

*The 15-month bachelor's degree is a 2+2 program and assumes that all associate's-level requirements have been met through an associate's degree or the equivalent.

The ASMBC degree program provides students with the foundation to work in entry-level positions in health care organizations and continued study for more advanced degrees. The general education component focuses on classifying and coding diagnosis and procedures.

The foundations of billing and coding are addressed in courses in coding, medical terminology, disease processes, health care organizations and management. Graduates gain concepts and skills that provide the ability to be immediately productive in both public and private health organizations.

Students can earn two résumé-building CTU Academic Certificates as they work toward the completion of the ASMBC degree program:

  • ICD9 and CPT
  • IT for Health care
