designed to prepare students for entry-level administrative

duties may include greeting patients, setting appointment times,

procedures.

a combination of lecture and laboratory sessions, as well as an
externship following completion of required course work. Medical
assistants perform administrative and clinical duties in a
physician's office or other outpatient care settings within the
scope of specific training and state law, and in accordance with
assignments by a physician. Administrative duties may include
patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record management,
medical transcription, office correspondence, medical insurance
procedures and office accounts, fees and collections.

The Medical Staff Services Management (MSSM) degree is designed
to prepare graduates to work in a hospital or health care
facility as a credentialing expert. A certified MSSM is qualified
to become an integral part of health care administration that
would be responsible for managing compliance, adherence to
government bylaws, credentialing of staff, operations management
(staffing, budgets, database administration, etc.), continuing
education and upholding organizational policies, procedures and
regulations.
The coursework for the MSSM program helps prepare you for the
Certified Professional in Medical Services Management or the
Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist examinations
which are recognized as the standard in the medical services
profession and are a symbol of excellence within the industry.

Pharmacy Technician - Associate's

for formally trained pharmacy technicians. National American
University's Associate of Applied Science program provides the

perceiving the body as a whole. NAU's therapeutic massage program
is designed to be the foundation of any massage therapist's
career. Massage therapists are found in a variety of settings,
including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers,
chiropractic offices and other health care facilities. Many
therapists choose to be self-employed and open a private practice
independently or with several associates.
