Medical Assistant - Diploma and Associate's
A graduate of the medical assistant programs will be able to perform administrative and clerical tasks to keep the offices and clinics of physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors and optometrists running smoothly.
Medical Billing and Coding Specialist - Diploma
The medical billing and coding specialist program is designed to provide the student with the variety of skills necessary for gaining employment as a medical insurance coding specialist and/or a billing specialist in a doctor's office or other health care facility. The student will be able to use medical coding ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS coding and have an extensive knowledge of all coding rules, guidelines, conventions and federal regulations.
The basic objective of the certified medical coding specialist program is to train students to perform entry level insurance coding and billing reimbursement duties and to function as a responsible employee in any type of medical facility. Computer skills, accounting, fundamentals of business and insurance reimbursement will be developed to the advanced level.
Pharmaceutical Technician - Diploma
CCNN offers a Pharmaceutical Technician Diploma program where students gain basic knowledge and clinical skills to advance into an entry-level position. Specific training is provided in dosage calculations, compounding and sterile processing (including aseptic technique), medical billing with prescription drug plans and basic computer skills. Upon completion of this diploma program, the pharmaceutical technician graduate is eligible to take the PTCB certification examination
