students first. Miami-Jacobs has built a reputation on helping
our students achieve a better life through a new career--a career
that suits them and their goals.
Our programs are "first to market." We develop new programs of
study (and refresh current ones) according to market demand. And
the results have become obvious--not only are our students
motivated, highly skilled and reliable, many employers large and
small in the Miami Valley seek us out to hire our graduates year
after year.
Career planning at Miami-Jacobs is not a separate effort,
undertaken only at the end of your program of study. Career
planning is integral to the student experience here, and will
begin during your discovery session, which is the very first step
in the admissions process.
We know you will best succeed when you are matched to the right
program, so we spend focused time with you, talking about career
goals and life goals. Once you are matched to the program that
suits you best, your career advocate and academic advisor both
monitor progress along the path so that you emerge at graduation
highly skilled, completely prepared and in demand.
