Medical Assistant - Certificate
You will learn both the clinical and administrative aspects necessary to become a valued member in the setting of your choice. Learn the skills needed to perform many duties, such as assisting with examinations, performing lab tests, and providing patient care. Courses include anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Specialty courses include clinical and laboratory skills. Externship in a medical office gives you hands on experience and allows you to integrate your skills in a clinical setting. National certification can be obtained following graduation by passing a written exam given by the National Association of Health Professionals.
